WE ARE LIVING IN DELAWARE AND ITS "COLD" HERE THIS WEEK.
Best wishes for a Merry Christmas Season and a Bright New Year!

Adjusting to a new life style has challenged us this year and we are thankful for the many positive outcomes. Living in a cottage overlooking a beautiful pond in Cokesbury Village offers many opportunities. Concerts with outstanding performers, social gatherings, movies, PT and OT therapy, exercise classes, and more are offered in the nearby core building. We have new friends here as well as people we have known since the 70’s. Ed loves the independence provided by his electronically powered wheelchair to compensate for post stoke immobilization of his left arm and leg. While we loved the home where we lived for 48 years, we are so thankful to be here.

Both Ed and Ruth continue to take classes and teach at UD’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute where she worked full and part-time for 18 years and continues to serve on committees. She also serves on the Lutheran Community Services board where she was Executive Director for 17 years. Ed greatly enjoys preparing for the OLLI classes he teaches. Next semester’s course will focus on National Parks. We are thankful to have visited so many of them.
