Latin Berry
Class of 1986
Latin Berry (Latin Dafonso Berry) was born on January 13, 1967 in Lakeview Terrace, California. After going to high school at Milwaukie (OR), Berry attended the University of Oregon. Berry made his professional debut in the NFL in 1990 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Cleveland Browns and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his career.
The record: Latin Berry of Milwaukie, 51-0, set in 1985.
On the radar: No one on the horizon with Berry's hops. Only three jumpers in Oregon history have surpassed 50 feet -- and none since Eric Trice in 1990.
