Kyle Blanks

Class of 2004

Kyle graduated from MHS in 2004 and attended Yavapai Community College in Arizona for 1 year. He was drafted by the San Diego Padres Baseball organization in 2004 and signed with them in 2005. He played one year of Rookie ball in Arizona, 1 year in Low A with the Ft. Wayne Wizards and 1 year at Lake Elsinor, California. He has been invited to the Padres Major League camp this year as a Non-roster invitee. Kyle will probably start the 2008 season in San Antonio and could possibly make the Padres big league roster in September. His younger brother, Chris, attends Moriarty Middle School.
