About	Alex "Bud" Powell passed away Saturday night, March 27, 2010, after battling brain cancer. He and his wife, Janice Cherry Powell were both 1957 NHS graduates. Bud had taught shop at NHS some years back and his wife, Jan had worked in the Food Service Department in NISD. They were currently living in New Caney, TX.
