About	Athan was an U. S. Navy Corpsman stationed at Lemoore,Ca. and was the Corpsman for VFA 125 squadron. While at sea on the U.S. Abraham Lincoln, Athan was part of the rescue efforts after a tsunami hit Thailand in 2004 Athan was married to Catherine Allen and had a daughter named Cailey. While in high school he played football.
