About	Mrs. LaDona Harrell Martin, who taught Chorus and Girl's PE at NCCHS in the early 1960s, passed away in mid-July, 2008 in a hospital near Golconda, IL (where she lived near her daughter Georgia). Mrs. Martin will be remembered fondly by all who sang in the Chorus and participated in the musical productions (which usually occupied the entire gym floor plus the stage) and were always given to packed-house audiences. Mrs. Martin was also a mentor, counselor, and inspiration to many—who will never forget her.
