Aaron Parker Elem - 70 yrs old

The rock school in Powderly that once housed all 12 grades is celebrating 70 years. The school has a cookbook selling for $15.00 that includes picture of the school in its original condition and how it looks today on the front cover and a history of the school and eight of the businesses that operate close to the school at the beginning of the book. They have carpeted the beautiful wood floors and the library is now the principal's office. The gym looks pretty much the same. The gym floor is still in top condition. The stage is still there too.
