About	Another of our beloved alumni has transitioned to Heaven. Billy Ray Vaughn Sr., age 59, employee of Midtown Augo and graduate of Northside High School Class of 1977, passed June 25, 2018. Visitation was from 4-6 p.m., Friday July 6, at RS Lewis & Sons, 2944 Walnut Grove Road. Funeral was Saturday, July 7 at 11 a.m. at St Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 508 North Third Street. Interment in Pleasant Rest Memorial Garden. Husband of Sharrell Vaughn, son of Cecila Vaughn, father of Billy Ray Vaughn, Jr. and Hakesha Vaughn, brother of Patrica Jones and Eddie Vaughn. Special Friend of Ms. Judy, he also leaves a host of nieces, nephew and other relatives. At this time his obituary is still open on the Commercial Appeal website.
