About	John Wayne Nichols age 49, of Varnell, passed away Friday, August 14, 2009 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Louis Nichols, Sr.; son, John Wayne Nichols, Jr.; brother, James Norman Large. He was employed by Mohawk Industries. Mr Nichols was a member of First Fruit Ministries. He used his skills in construction and home repair to help those less fortunate. He also did mission work and church planning. He is survived by his wife, Gay Marshell Nichols of Varnell; son, Jonathan Wayne Nichols of Varnell; mother, Betty Jane Nichols of Dalton; sister, Joyce Juanita Nichols of Dalton; brothers, Jerry Lane Nichols and Bobby Louis Nichols, Jr., both of Dalton; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 17, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Morgan and Rev. Marty Greene officiating. Burial will be at West Hill Cemetery. A White Dove Release Ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday after 6:00 p.m.
