Class of 1960
My Uncle (Vernon Freed) gave our class of 1960 our diplomats on Freed Field on May 1960. The next day June 1 I enlisted in the Navy.
I served on 2 Destroyers during the Cuban Crisis. I served on the 2nd
Guided Missle Destroyer that the Navy built in Bath, Maine. I was discharged in 1963 with Honorable
Discharge.
I was married in the Navy and had 2
Children while still in the Navy.
I was married for 45 years and she passed away in 2007.
I live in May's Landing, NJ. 08330
