Triathlete Star

Kirsten Nyhus (92) Hock is a Star triathlete, competing in the World Triathlon Championships in Honolulu and Cornerbrook, Newfoundland, placing 11th overall. She is currently a science teacher and girls' basketball coach at Reavis High School, in Burbank. She is married to Michael and has a son, Thor.

Looking for alumni!

We are looking for all RIch South alumni and past faculty and staff from 1973 to present in order to inform and invite them to the 35th Anniversary Celebration at the high school. The celebration will be on April 4th and 5th, 2008. We are looking for past choir and band students to perform in a Reunion Concert in our new adutiorium on April 4th and also for all alumni interested in joining the celebration and seeing old friends. There will be a Stars of Distinction Banquet and Awards program on April 5th where past faculty, staff and alumni will be honoered in this first annual event that will be held every year in the spring. In addition, tours and small reunion gatherings are planned on both days. The old high school building is quickly changing, so this will be a chance to "see the old and glance at the future" while renewing old friendships and taking a walk down memory lane together.
