About	Merrillville, Indiana Age 49, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 3, 2007. Rick had been a longtime Lake Station and Hobart resident and was a graduate of River Forest High School, Class of 1975. He had been a construction worker for 30 years and was an employee of WCW. Rick also worked for Boyd construction and was a member of Local #81. Rick also enjoyed motorcycles and was a member of A.B.A.T.E. He is survived by his brother, Scott (Georgia) Woodruff of Atwood, TN; 2 sisters, Gail (Jack) Hendrix of Southern, IN, Linda Ward of Hobart, IN; many nieces and nephews; companion of 10 years, Barb Perkins of Merrillville, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Alberta Woodruff, wife, Valerie, brother, John, and niece, Sarah. Funeral services will be Monday, January 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, Rev. Brian Harper officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Portage. Visitation will be January 7, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home.
