About	Eric L. Rudsell, 43, of Seaton, Illinois died Saturday, August 2, 2014 in Mexico. Services are 4:30 PM Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the Fippinger Funeral Home in Aledo. Visitation is from 2:30-4:30 PM prior to services and Memorials may be made to his daughters, Montana and Erica Rudsell. According to his family’s wishes, cremation will be accorded after services. Online condolences can be made at www.fippingerfuneralhome.com. He was born November 28, 1970 in Rock Island, Illinois to Richard and Katherine (Johnson) Rudsell, and raised by Marvin Crooks. Eric attended Rockridge schools and received his GED. He married Cathy Reaber August 8, 1998 in Aledo. Eric was employed at Meminger’s in Aledo as a metal finisher. He was also a well known local mechanic and junker. He was currently a Village of Seaton board member. He enjoyed demolition derbies, hunting, fishing, camping, carpentry, stock car racing and especially his family. Survivors include his wife, Cathy; three daughters, Heather of Aledo; Montana and Erica Rudsell of Seaton, legal daughter Elizabeth Rudsell, foster daughter, Samantha, all of Seaton; his special daughter, Caitlin Brown of Davenport; one granddaughter, Stephanie Christianson of Keithsburg; his mother, Katherine Crooks of Rock Island; five brothers, Tom (Stacy) Crooks of Camp Point, Illinois; Adam Crooks of Milan; Danny (Rebecca) Kirk of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida; Joseph (Nancy) Rudsell of Springdale, Arkansas; Victor (Karissa) Rudsell of Joplin, Missouri; one sister, Renee Como of Cinncinati, Ohio; maternal grandmother, Lorraine Knott of Milan; several nieces and nephews. His father who raised him, Marvin Crooks, one sister, Bethany Crooks and paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather preceded him in death.
