About	Betty Ketchum, 79, of Milroy, died Friday, May 24, 2002, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born March 18, 1923, in Rush County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Anna (Holdren) Phillips, both deceased. On Feb. 8, 1974, she married Harvey Ketchum; he preceded her in death. Mrs. Ketchum was a 1941 graduate of Rushville High School. She retired from Schnadig Corporation. She was a member of Milroy Christian Church and was very active in church activities. Survivors include two stepchildren, Harvey Marlin Ketchum and Mary Louise Bruce, both of Indianapolis; two nephews, Michael Joyce of Indianapolis and James Joyce of Rushville; one niece, Anna Karen (Mrs. Fred) Pennington of Rushville; and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Todd Funeral Home in Rushville, with the Rev. Ron Simbro officiating. Burial will follow in East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
