About	Barbara Ellen (Lieland) VanHuss, 61, of Greenwood, passed away Friday, January 23, 2015, at St Francis Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by her family. She was born June 29, 1953 in Rushville, IN, daughter of Melvin G. Lieland and Betty E. Currey Lieland. She graduated from RCHS in 1971. Barbara married on November 22, 1975 in Rushville to Joe VanHuss. She was employed by I.U. Health in Greeenwood at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband, Joe, son Jay VanHuss of Greenwood, sister Joann Gorrell of Champaign, IL. brother Jim Lieland of Rushville, brother in law Jon (Debbie) VanHuss of Collinsville, Ok, 5 nieces and nephews and 7 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Barbara cherished her family and treasured her friends. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St Mary Catholic Church of Rushville, 512 North Perkins Street, Rushville, IN 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January29, 2015 with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Rushville. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Jessen Funeral Home Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, Whiteland, IN. and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Church. Memorial contributions can be made to Saint Mary’s parish or the charity of your choice.
