About	Obit-EARL WILLIAM WHITEHEAD-Sand Creek , age 72, of Sand Creek, died September 3, 2007 at Tendercare of Adrian. He was born June 13, 1935 in Fairfield Township to Floyd and Etta (Anderson) Whitehead. On January 1, 1961 he married Doris Goldsmith in Seward, Ohio and she preceded him in death on July 8, 2004. Earl was a member of Jasper Bible Church and the Local UAW #2031. He was also an avid coon hunter and attended the Kenton Nationals for the past 40 years. Earl is survived by four sons, Brick Whitehead of Sand Creek, Dean Whitehead and his wife Jeanie of Sand Creek, Billie Jo Whitehead of Toledo, OH, and Marty Whitehead of Sand Creek; one daughter, Sue Garcia and her husband Martin of Wauseon, OH; one sister, Janette Pettit and her husband Mack of Adrian; six grandchildren, Eric and Tiffany Whitehead, James and Chad Wilson, and Missy and Steven Garcia; and one great-grandchild, Joseline Wilson. In addition to his wife, Earl is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a granddaughter, Angela Lynn Garcia; five brothers, JR, Dewayn, Gerald, Richard, and Jerry; and three sisters, Janice, Shirley, and Sally. According to Earl’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at the Jasper Bible Church with Reverend Bruce Jewett officiating. A luncheon will follow the memorial service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Earl’s family. Envelopes are available at Anderson Funeral Home, Adrian.
