About	Obit-Ethelyn A. Titler-Sand Creek SAND CREEK — Ethelyn A. Titler, age 94, passed from this life on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Larry Taylor, in Walkerton, Ind. Ethelyn was born July 22, 1913, the oldest child of Ernie and Anna (Luthey) Leininger. On April 7, 1938, she married George W. Titler in Metamora, Ohio; a marriage of 62 years. George preceded her in death in 2000. Ethelyn worked side by side with her husband at the farm in the Sand Creek area. For 25 years they enjoyed spending winters in Bradenton, Fla. She also traveled extensively throughout the United States with her family. Ethelyn was an active member of Bethany Assembly of God Church in Adrian. Ethelyn is survived by her daughter, Gloria and her husband, Larry Taylor, of Walkerton, Ind.; two grandchildren, Lowell (Nancy) Taylor of Polo, Ill., and Kimberly (Michael) Bucheit of Valparaiso, Ind.; and two great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Reid Taylor. In addition to her husband, George, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Vern Leininger, and two sisters, Ada Kentner and Orpha Wyse. Funeral services for Ethelyn will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at the Wagley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Packard Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday from 9 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. Contributions in memory of Ethelyn may be directed to the Plymouth Church of the Brethren.
