About	HUDSON — Ivan D. Middleton, age 79, of Hudson, Mich., passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007, at CareLink Hospital of Jackson. He was born Feb. 1, 1928, in Clayton, Mich., to Clifford J. and Katie (Spaulding) Middleton. He married Betty McComb on June 18, 1947, in Sand Creek, Mich., and she survives. Ivan was a life long Hudson area farmer and graduated from Sand Creek High School Class of 1946. He attended the Hudson Wesleyan Church, was a past member of the Hudson Township Zoning Board and was a Pioneer seed corn dealer for several years. Surviving Ivan besides his wife, Betty of Hudson, are one daughter, Nancy (Michael) Lama of Arlington, Wash.; two sons, Gary (Debbie) Middleton of Hudson and Clifford (Martha) Middleton of Sand Creek; 13 grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Molly Hartman; son, William Middleton; and two brothers, Carroll Middleton and Neil Middleton. Funeral services for Ivan will be Monday, July 2, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Eagle Funeral Home in Hudson with the Rev. Wesley Rowan and Pastor Calvin Walden officiating. Interment will follow at Dover Center Cemetery in Dover Township, Mich.
