About	Obit-Janis L. Munger-Sand Creek ROCHESTER HILLS — Janis L. Munger, age 90, of Rochester Hills died Thursday, July 26, 2007, at Crittenton Hospital. Janis was born in Chicago, Ill., on Feb. 25, 1917, the daughter of the late Charles A. and Edna I. (Poucher) Wilson. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening and reading. She found joy in participating in bridge clubs, garden clubs and investment clubs. She was also a volunteer at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing for more than 20 years. Janis grew up in Sand Creek, Mich., and lived in Adrian, Grand Blanc, Flint and Lansing. She held many interesting jobs, including teaching Bishop Sewing as part of the Mott Foundation programs in Flint. She was a long time member of Court Street United Methodist Church in Flint. Surviving are two daughters, Suzanne (Donald) Goins of Canton, Christine (Gregory) Crane of Linden, and two sons, Dennis (Marjorie) Munger of Lake Orion and Dean (Mary) Munger of Fenton. Janis had 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Harold, her husband of 63 years. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2007, at Court Street United Methodist Church, 225 W. Court St., Flint, with the Rev. Marjorie H. Munger officiating. Burial will be in East Rome Cemetery, Adrian. Those desiring may make contributions to Court Street United Methodist Church, Hospice of Michigan or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
