Class of 1975

Several years ago, I was visiting with Scott Head who graduated from SGP. I had played against Phillip Hale in the early 70's (Gainesville, Tx) and asked Scott if he knew Phillip. I played both basketball and baseball against Phillip.

First, Scott had just been appointed the Athletic Director of Lake Dallas High school after coaching several stellar baseball teams. and we were actually visiting at Time To Dance in Lake Dallas watching our little girls in their too toos in ballet class. Had my man-card taken away for a month. Anyway, When I asked Scott about Phillip, he raised up and said " oh yes I know him, he was my Jr High Basketball coach". I realized then how old I was and shut up. I think Phillip is still coaching basketball over in Jacksonville, Tx I believe. Phillip played on the state championship baseball team maybe 1974 or 1975. He played basketball at SMU and maybe played some baseball there too.

As far as I know, Scott is still the AD at lake Dallas and is a really top notch guy.
