Rufus "Scooter" Artis

Rufus Artis aka Scooter was one of my best friends in elementary school. At a very young age he has supreme athletic ability which inspired me to achieve the same.Rufus was rumored to have already been pitching baseballs at a high speed as a child. He also though a fit and sturdy young man was very fast in his feet in fact one of the fastest I've ever known. Rufus had a way with all the young girls we were around at that time being a prime candidate for dances we once had in school gymnasium. Scooter always ran a great mile time which inspired me to do the same me being from another side of Suffolk I had never seen or witnessed this level of athleticism as I was conserved to my house with my grandparents. I'd like to thank him for that his spirit still lives in me he set the standard for manhood at a young age. I'm sad to say my brother is gone now due to a murder he like many of us was a Olympic level athlete no question about it Long live SCOOTER!!!!LOVE YOU BRO??????
