About	Ardis Lea Black passed away on October 12, 2020. In Brenham, Texas at age 78. Born on February 25, 1942 to Arthur and Unabelle Buller, she was raised in St. Charles, Illinois. Ardis attended Monticello Women’s College and upon graduation she became a flight attendant for Delta Airlines. In 1966 she married Richard Black and after a long year in Detroit they settled in Houston. She was an avid gardener and spent forty years helping manage Richard’s custom pool cue business. Ardis is survived by her husband Richard, her daughter Stephanie Walton and husband Robert, her daughter Lori Black and husband Robert, and grandchildren Brandon Walton, James Milton Black II and Elizabeth Oxford Black. She is also survived by her two sisters, Judith Knott and husband Robert and Georgette Stephens.
