About	Joe played Sax for the Raider Band, Stage Band, and Jr. Birdmen Hellraisers, 1968-71. After graduating from UT-Austin in 1976,he became a pioneer of the Austin's Sixth Street Live Music scene when he opened the popular Joe's Generic Blues Bar. Joe was known thruout the music biz for giving young artists a place to play, including Stevie Ray Vaughn.
