| About | Alice wnet to Roosevelt Grammar School in South Holland. She was, I believe, the first woman that we graduated with to pass away very early in her life. The story I have heard is that she had fallen in a store, was cut on her leg by glass., She was taken to the hospital to take care of this problem and it was there that the doctors noticed something else on her leg and it turned out to be some kind of cancer. She did not live too long after this diagnosis. I wish I knew more and knew how to reach her family. Alice was very well liked in school, friendly, and very attractive person inside and out. She will be missed again at this reunion and we know that her family misses her as will her friends from Roosevelt and Thornridge.
