About	Thomas B. Bala, age 60, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, April 5, 2014, after a 25 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Donna Bala. Tom will be lovingly remembered by his children, Corry (Amanda) Bala of Holly, MI, Kevin (Carrie) Bala of Middleville, MI, Candi (Kenny) Marquard of Shelbyville, MI, Casey Bala of Wayland, MI; his grandchildren, Cameron and Collin Bala, Carter, Kaleigh and Kiersten Marquard; his siblings, Tim Bala, Judy (Bob) Lindgren, Nancy Gunson, Lu (Patrick) Dougherty; and his many nieces and nephews. Tom was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and golfing. He was an incredibly hard worker and did whatever he needed to for the support of his family. A time for relatives and friends to visit with Tom's family will be held from 1-4 PM, Sunday, April 13, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Wayland, 312 N. Main St. Funeral. Mass will be held 11 AM Monday, April 14, at St. Therese Catholic Parish 128 Cedar St. in Wayland with Father Christian Johnston presiding.
