About	Peter W. Paraventi, age 62, of Iron River, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at his home. He was born on March 27, 1958 in Stambaugh, MI, the son of the late Pasquale “Peter” and Ruth (Waara) Paraventi. He attended the West Iron County Schools, graduating with the Class of 1976. He then attended Michigan Technological University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management with a minor in Economics. Peter married the former Donna Waite on July 19, 1980 in Iron River, MI and the couple made their home in Iron River. They celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary in 2019. He was employed as the plant manager for MagiGlide in Crystal Falls, MI for 40 years. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Iron River. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren. Peter is survived by his wife, Donna; son, Pete Paraventi of Iron River, MI; daughter, Nicole (Bradly) Bergman of Billings, MT; sisters, Karyn (William) Bosze of Grand Rapids, MI, Anita (Stan) Ferguson of Downers Grove, IL, and Denise (Tom) Rouns of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren Brienna and Hunter Bergman; God daughter Alaina (Michael) Davis; Mother In Law Bernice Waite of Iron River; In Laws John (Debbie) Waite of Iron River, MI, Danny (Penny) Waite of Eagle River, WI, Peggy (Leo) Angeloff of Quinnesec, MI, Carol (Dave) Callovi of Iron River, MI, Mike (Theresa) Waite of Almont, MI, Mary Jo (Herb) Hoover of Alvin, WI, Joan Waite of Iron River, MI, Barbara (Steve) Penkevich of New Hudson, MI, Tom Waite of Iron Mountain, MI, Ray Waite of Iron River, MI and Tim (Billie Jo) Waite of Caspian, MI; and nieces, nephews, and friends. And a special person in his life, Seantel Duda. Services will be held May 30, 2020 visitation at Jacobs Funeral Home Iron River 9:00 -10:45 a.m. Services at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 702 N. 4th Ave. Iron River Interment will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
