About	November 9, 1957 ~ June 9, 2021 (age 63) Raymond Scot Provost, age 63 of Iron River, MI passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 in Sidnaw, MI at his retirement home with his family at his side. He was born on November 9, 1957 in Lansing, MI son of Joseph and Kathryne (Rummery) Provost. Raymond attended L'Anse Area Schools and then graduated from West Iron High School in 1976. He received an Associate Degree in Heating and Cooling. He worked at the Old Ford Garage until moving to Tampa Florida in 1984 where he worked at Lazy Days. In 1990 he moved back to Iron River and worked at Riverside Auto in Iron Mountain and then Lindwall Motors in Iron River, retiring to Sidnaw, MI. He was well known for being gracious and would help anyone. He was a straight shooter and never sugar coated anything. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool and was the Captain of the Pool League at the American Legion in Iron River. He was also a member of Son's of the American Legion and served as Treasurer. Surviving are his mother, Kathryne Provost of Iron River; son Michael Provost of Ocala, FL; daughter Brandis Larson of Iron River; grandchildren Keagan Rowney, Hailey Rowney, Alyvia Provost, and Zac Provost. Preceding him in death are his father Joseph Provost and brother Milton Provost.
