About	After a courageous 2 plus year battle with pancreatic cancer, the Lord called his lovely daughter to eternal life. During this battle Denise touched so many lives and was an inspiration to everyone who knew & loved her. This includes all her friends at Kelloggsville Public Schools especially her friends and colleagues at the Middle School where she was a secretary for nine years. She leaves behind a supportive husband Brian who was her biggest advocate during her battle; three proud and wonderful children, Nicole (Pete) Zomerlei, Matthew and Jacob; Mother Nancy & Dad Larry Pell; Father Dennis (Cheryl) Nichols; Sisters Kim Nichols & Deb (Glen) Avery; Brother-in-laws Jerome (Jo) Picardat, Robert Picardat & Kevin (Kathy) Picardat; Sister-in-laws Judy (Denny) Kuenzer & Michele (Keith) Revolt and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces & Nephews. Denise was preceded in death by her Grandparents Paul (Evelyn) Nichols & Jay (June) Stevens; Father and Mother-in-law Jerome (Roberta) Picardat and Brother-in-law John Picardat. Denise's family would like to thank all the staff at Lemmen-Holton Cancer Center for their continued care, support and never give up attitude during Denise's journey as well as Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods for making Denise comfortable and providing spiritual and moral support to the family in her last days.
