A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday July 21, 2008 at Warren Baptist Church with Dr. Frank S. Page officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. A native of Augusta, Christian was a Cum Laude graduate of Augusta State University. She was a kindergarten teacher at John Milledge Elementary School in Richmond County. Christian was an active member of Warren Baptist Church. Survivors include her beloved husband, Auburn C. Giles of Evans; her mother, Debbie Daniel and husband Henry of Waynesboro, GA; one brother, James Nelson Daniel of Augusta; maternal grandparents, Freddie and Nancy Chambers of Trenton, SC; aunt, Marilyn C. Hensley and husband Keith of Aiken, SC; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Larry M. Giles and Rose Ann Giles of Evans; and brothers-in-law, Brett A. Giles of Evans, Keefe M. Giles of Martinez, Darryl L. Giles of Martinez, and Anthony Brian Giles of Augusta. Christian was preceded in death by her father, the late James Robert Daniel. Pallbearers will be Chief Steve Kinder, Mike Carp, Bobby Bagwell, James McPeak, Stephen Heard, and Tony Heard.
