Jason M. Varso

Class of 1991

Jason M. Varso is a 1991 graduate of Whitehall. He graduated with honors with a degree in Architecture and another degree in Business Administration. The summer before gratuation he had the opportunity in working with Wendy McLendon-Covey (Reno 911, Blended, Bridesmaids) and Sam Huntington (Not Another Teen Movie, Jungle to Jungle) in the film Tug The Movie, which also stars Yeardly Smith, Haylie Duff, Sarah Drew, and Zachary Knighton. After graduating from Ferris State University (a year after the film was shot) he signed up with an acting agency. That same year he was hired after auditioning and competing against other actors for a DUI commercial for the State of Michigan. Since then he has worked on Army Wives (Lifetime network), Transformers 4 (directed by Michael Bay), Need For Speed, Little Red Wagon (directed by David Anspaugh - Rudy, Hoosiers), and many commercials. He has been cast as Keith in the upcoming film Past Due, which is being directed by Robert Conrad (The Wild Wild West). He has also worked as a model for Ford trucks and Bennington pontoon boats.
