Appointed to senior Administration positions by three U.S. Presidents. Nominated by President George Bush to be Administrator for Africa at USAID; confirmed by the U.S. Senate. Former Acting worldwide Director of the Peace Corps. Currently, President/CEO of the United States African Development Foundation, www.usadf.gov. Preparing to become Senior International Adviser to the United States Africa Sports and Education Foundation, www.usasef.com.
