Glen Anderson
Class of 0
Glen Anderson succeeded Dr. Richard Kamm as WB Director of Bands in 1968, no easy task given Kamm's long state-wide legacy of musical excellence. Glen was an excellent French Hornist who entertained a position with the Denver Symphony Orchestra shortly after graduating with his Masters degree in Music from the University of Illinois. Instead, he elected to teach. The music department leadership was formidable at this time consisting of faculty members: Glen Anderson (Bands), Robert Shamo (Orchestra) and Maurice Dobbins (choral).
Glen transitioned to the business world many years ago. He now serves as Executive Vice President of the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council (a Global trade support organization headquartered in the Chicago suburbs).
