Jim and I worked in the Willowbrook social studies department for many years. I will remember him as a dedicated teacher and union member. I have many memories of working with Jim at Willowbrook. I have an especially fond memory of Jim and Judy when my mother and I stopped for a short visit at the Piotter's WI home. Bob and Margo Littlehale Posted by Margo Littlehale - Fairfield, VA - Colleague April 20, 2012 I fondly recall the carpool that was formed as a result of the 1973 oil embargo that resulted in Jim Piotter, Allan Maclear, Dave Smith and me driving together from Oak Park and River Forest to Willowbrook. We managed to keep it going for quite some time. The most humorous event was when we got stuck in a snow storm on our way home, and Allan, Dave and I tried to push Jim Piotter's car (with him in it) up the ramp on to the Eisenhower expressway. He was a remarkable mentor and I learned a great deal from him during this time. He was a a fine teacher.
