About	Jim passed February 3, 2014; the obituary from the funeral home: James W. Alstrin age 86 of Wheaton since 1988. He was an army veteran enlisted during the Korean War. Beloved husband of Patricia nee; York; Loving father of April Alstrin and Suzanne (Don) Gadbois; Dear grandfather of Adam Gadbois and Uncle of many nieces and nephews. James was a math teacher at Willowbrook High School in Villa Park. A Memorial gathering will be held Saturday, February 8th from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM at the First United Methodist Church, 424 Forest Ave., Glen Ellyn. Interment private. We will all likely still remember some of his favorite phrases: Duck Soup; Play the Game; Not very elegant, etc
