United to host '83 Champions

United High School would like to honor the 1983 state championship football team on Friday, September 19, during halftime of the homecoming game with Abingdon.

Members of the '83 team and their families will be admitted free to the game, which will be followed by a concert by Monmouth area band "Miss Fortune."

Also, there will be a reception for all Yorkwood, Alexis, Warren and United alumni on Saturday, September 20, starting at 7:00 p.m. at Cloud Nine, formerly the Monmouth Country Club. Snacks will be served and there will be a cash bar. The championship game film will be shown that night, as well.

Contact United athletic director Tony Kozelichki at 734-9411 to confirm your attendance and be included in the halftime recognition.
