What is Lisa Forbes known for?

Born on May 5, 1981, in Olathe, Kansas, Lisa Marie Forbes is an American television personality and a renowned beauty queen. After moving to Overland Park at the age of five, Forbes attended Blue Valley Northwest High School, later advancing to the University of Kansas where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies.

Forbes began her pageantry career by winning the Miss Kansas USA 2004 title on November 30, 2003, in Wichita, Kansas. A determined participant, Forbes competed for five consecutive years, winning the interview award three times. She was a semi-finalist in 2003 and 2002, third runner-up in 2001, and a non-finalist in 2000.

Following her successful reign as Miss Kansas USA in 2004, Forbes participated in the Miss USA 2004 pageant. She later represented the United States as the United States Miss Earth titleholder in the Miss Earth 2007 pageant, becoming the first former Miss USA delegate to achieve this feat. Unfortunately, she did not place in this competition.

Apart from her pageantry endeavors, Lisa Forbes is deeply passionate about American Quarter Horses, having spent a significant part of her life riding, showing, and training these horses. In 2000, she represented the Northeast Kansas Quarter Horse Association in the All American Quarter Horse Congress Queen's Contest held in Columbus, Ohio.

Forbes also made a notable appearance on the Paris edition of the reality television show The Bachelor in 2006, although she was eliminated in the first round. She was working as an IT recruiter at that time. Later, she expressed an interest in pursuing a career in public relations or marketing, with her dream job being a television host.
