Onterio McCalebb, a versatile football player, was born on August 10, 1989, in Fort Meade, Florida. He is fondly remembered for his exceptional athleticism during his high school years at Fort Meade High School, Florida, where he played football, basketball, and ran track. Being a dexterous football player, he rushed for 1,995 yards and scored 27 touchdowns in his senior year alone. Additionally, he caught 11 passes for a total of 300 yards. As a testament to his versatility, he also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.

Besides his football prowess, he shone in track and field competitions, particularly as a sprinter. Some of his notable achievements included clinching first place in the 100-meter dash at the 2008 1A Region 3 Meet with a time of 10.90 seconds. He also emerged victorious in the 200-meter dash at the 2008 FHSAA 1A T&F Championships, clocking in at 22.44 seconds. His sporting versatility didn't stop there, as he was also a member of the 4 × 100 m relay squad.

Post high school, McCalebb joined Auburn University, stepping up his game and proving to be an exemplary football player right from his debut. In his first match against Louisiana Tech, he rushed for more than 100 yards, becoming the first Auburn freshman to do so since Bo Jackson in 1982. His stint at Auburn was crowned with a National Championship win in 2010. He later garnered attention at the 2013 NFL Combine by recording the fastest time for a running back in the 40-yard dash.

As a professional, McCalebb signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2013 and was with them for two seasons before moving to the Ottawa Redblacks in 2016. Throughout his career, he displayed versatility by playing as a running back, wide receiver, and return specialist.

His career, interwoven with a series of notable highlights and awards, includes being a BCS national champion in 2011 and earning second-team All-SEC the same year. He was also named the Offensive MVP at the 2011 Chick-fil-A Bowl.
