Born on March 16, 1987, in Joppatowne, Maryland, Jeremy Navarre is a former American football defensive end and a proud alumnus of Joppatowne High School. During his high school years, he showcased his talent on the football field, playing as both a fullback and defensive end. Navarre's senior year highlights included recording 145 tackles, 11 sacks, and four fumble recoveries. He also proved his versatility with 15 receptions for 290 yards and three touchdowns. His outstanding performance landed him accolades, including twice being named a consensus first-team all-state and Baltimore Sun first-team All-Met player. He was also named Baltimore Sun Athlete of the Year and Harford County Defensive Player of the Year.

Navarre's football career flourished further at the University of Maryland, where he enrolled early, foregoing a third Maryland state wrestling championship. Not only did he stand out on the football field, but he was also a two-time wrestling champion. As a freshman, he started in 10 out of the 11 games, recording 25 tackles with 2.5 for loss. His sophomore year saw him participate in all 13 games, with 12 starts, 47 tackles, and 9.5 for loss. His performance in their game against Florida State sealed a win for the team and earned him the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Co-Defensive Lineman of the Week.

Moving on to his professional career, Navarre signed as an undrafted free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2009. He later became a valuable member of the Arizona Cardinals, Sacramento Mountain Lions, and Virginia Destroyers.
