Contemporary gospel music singer

What is Jade Trini Goring known for?

Born in Queens, New York on November 6, 1969, Jade Trini Goring, also known as Jade Trini, kickstarted her career on stage at the tender age of eight. A member of a family of musicians and singers, she pursued her passion for performing arts at Manhattan International High School before furthering her studies at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

After her graduation, she returned to New York and carved out a name for herself in the world of acting, singing, and dancing. Goring showcased her talent in various musicals like Dreamgirls and The Wiz.

Her career took an exciting turn when Bryce Wilson, a member of the Mantronix group, invited her to be the lead vocalist for their Capitol Records recording group. Goring's contribution to their 1991 album, The Incredible Sound Machine, marked a departure from Mantronix's original sound and leveraged her vocal prowess in its new jack swing, R&B and house music influenced tracks.

Following Mantronix's dissolution, Goring lent her talent to various musical acts. She toured as a background singer for rapper Monie Love and collaborated with house music producer David Morales and R&B singer-songwriter Angie Stone.

In 1992, Goring became a born-again Christian and subsequently released her debut contemporary gospel album, The Devil Lost Another One on the independent Couffe Music label in 2003. In addition to her blossoming gospel music career, she serves as the Event Coordinator and member of Christ Alive Christian Center in the Bronx, New York. Nowadays, she resides in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
