Ceresna was a commendable player, with his career starting right from his high school days in New Fairfield High School. He went on to play college football at Cortland, subsequently graduating cum laude with a B.S. in exercise science in 2016.

He was an undrafted player in the 2016 NFL Draft and started his professional career with New York Jets in the same year. After a brief time with the Jets, he played for the Ottawa Redblacks in 2017 and then moved to the Edmonton Eskimos the following year. During the 2019 NFL season, he was a player for the New York Giants. He then returned to the Edmonton Eskimos, now called the Edmonton Elks, in 2019 and has played for them since.
