Not just an average student, Jake made his mark in the arena of American football. Today, he is recognized as an offensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks in the National Football League (NFL).

Jake's journey into football started in high school. Despite only starting to play football as a sophomore, he soon found his place on the offensive line, where he stayed for three seasons from 2013-15. His skills were quickly noticed, and as a junior, he received Honorable Mention Marin County Athletic League on both the offensive and defensive lines.

He continued to make strides in his senior year, moving to left tackle and playing on the defensive line. He gained various recognitions, including preseason All-Northern California honors, and was named Lineman of the Year by the Marin County Athletic League, first-team All-State Medium School by Cal-Hi Sports, among other accolades.

Jake took his talents to the University of California, Berkeley, where he was a scholarship recruit in 2016. He began his college career as a redshirt but quickly progressed to starting in all games of the 2017 season. He played right tackle for the California Golden Bears and earned Pac-12 All-Academic honors. He maintained this momentum into his 2018 season, earning Pac-12 All-Academic honors for the second consecutive year.

Following the 2021 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks signed Jake as an undrafted free agent. Embarking on his NFL career with the Seahawks, Jake has since played in 23 games and started 8 as of week 4 in 2023. He debuted in the NFL in 2021, starting five games as a rookie and playing in 10 other games that season.
