The class of 1969 experienced history on a regular basis: The Summer of Love, the Tet Offensive, Nixon's rise to power, The Beatles' creative peak... very few spans of time can claim to have shaped American culture as much as the late 60's, and you & your Ardsley High School classmates experienced it together.
Now as you and your fellow Panthers prepare to enjoy retirement it's the perfect time to reunite and share where life has brought you in the last five decades. Your reunion is scheduled and AlumniClass is your spot for arranging travel plans, ordering custom Panthers merchandise to show off your school spirit, and connect with classmates ahead of time.

Hey 69ers,
I hope this note finds you well as summer has started a few days ago. As of today, there is only 37 days to the big day. I am happy to say, we are up to 42 in attendance as the Alters cannot make it, but Sidney, Pam & Rob, Jeff Horowitz and Ginger all will be there. It's not too late if you schedule opened up to add to this number by filling out the 2nd page of the attached form and mail it to me with your check.
The list of confirmed attendees to date is: Carolyn Baily, Tom & Eleanor Boger, Connie (Grimes) Brown, Cynthia (Thorpe) Carey, Chris Cerone, Mike Cerone, Neil Comins, Kathy Donoghue, Dave & Pam Dudley, Lyle & Marguirettes Fields, Joan Matthews Gershon, Wes Golomb, Rich Gross, Mary Agnano Henley, Michelle & Jeff Horowitz, Tom & Linda Jones, Brian Kenner, Bill & Cathy Klages, Pam Lu & Robert Bourgeois, Marjorie (Krauss) Seibold, Lois Macri, Dave Morse, Don & Vickie Morse, Terry Nanna, Nancy Kaufman Panagacos, Richie Rosenblatt, Stephen Pollaine, Charlie Shapiro, Ginger Scott, Sidney Schwartzberg, Steve Stegman, Roz Tampone, Bob Stien & Enid Weishaus.
We will lose the block of rooms they are holding for us on July 16th, so if you haven’t already reserved your rooms, please do so immediately. Details on how to reserve a room are in the attachment flyer. However, to save you time, here is the link: (https://book.passkey.com/event/50771769/owner/56479/home). Remember, the Sonesta Hotel has a free shuttle bus from Westchester airport.
The Thursday, Aug 15th Met game is set and tickets purchased.
Friday night (8/16) is our informal event at the Sonesta Lounge and is open to all, especially AHS alumni of all classes, so tell your friends. Each person is on their own for the night and it will start unofficially around 6PM and going till whatever time you want.
Saturday (8/17), starts with at 10:30AM with a walking tour of Ardsley by Pete Marcus, President of the Ardsley Historical Society. He will lead us on a 1-hour tour (10:30-11:30) of downtown Ardsley. From what I have heard, you will learn things about Ardsley that you have never imagined. This will be followed by our own Bob Stien taking you on 2nd picturesque walk-through Nyack Beach State Park (20-minute drive from Ardsley) to absorb the scenery and take in the views. Transportation should be able to be provided if you need it (please advise).
Saturday then has our main event, a buffet dinner at the Sonesta. You can follow it up with another trip to the Lounge for those who stay up past 10:30PM. Sunday, as in the past, you are on your own but many meet informally for breakfast at the hotel.
Again, thank you to those who have donated funds for those that needed help. With the generosity we received so far, we have helped those that need it.
Hope to see your letters arriving at my mailbox soon and look forward to seeing you all in August.

As in the past, the present early bird special price of $135 expires 55 years after the day you graduated, June 21, 2024. After this date, the price is $150, so save the $15 and the headache it causes us. Send that letter in today.
