Dear Bloomington High School 1973 Classmates, You're invited to a “CLASS OF 1973 ALL INTERCITY HIGH SCHOOL 40 YEAR REUNION”, to be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 15 Country Club Place, Bloomington, from 6:00 to 11:00 pm. Bloomington, Central Catholic, Normal Community and University High Schools have worked together to plan what should be a very memorable reunion. Greg and Heather Shepard will be hosting the event at their home and their generosity is indeed appreciated and remarkable. Appetizers and drinks will be catered by Biaggi's and Greg has hired a band from Chicago (The Nicole Earich Orchestra at www.neoorchestra.com). Dress will be casual. Their home will provide a great setting for an extraordinary evening! We hope you will be able to come celebrate with us! Additional Details 1). Friday, June 28th - Each school plans to have a separate function on Friday evening. Our class will meet in the outdoor area at Gill Street Sportsbar. This will be a very informal gathering with a cash bar and appetizers beginning at 6:00 p.m. Gill Street is located at 3002 Gill Street in Bloomington, close to the corner of GE and Airport Roads. Their number is 309-661-6387. 2). Saturday, June 29th - The cost for Saturday evening is $10 per person attending. Please send payment to BHS Class of 1973, 3127 Monterey Road, Bloomington, IL 61704 and make checks payable to BHS Class of 1973. Please remit payment or let us know you will not be able to attend as soon as possible. To alleviate parking concerns on Country Club Place, please park at Bloomington High School in the lot nearest the corner of Towanda Avenue and Empire Street. A party bus will shuttle guests to and from the Shepards. The party bus will also be available following the party to accommodate those in need of a ride home. 3). Hotel Accommodations – We have made arrangements with the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites – Bloomington-Airport for a deeply discounted room rate for Friday and Saturday nights.
