Joined early 2006 and after finishing Infantry OSUT at FT. Benning reported to FT. Wainwright, AK. Immediatly deployed with the 172nd Stryker Brigade to Mosul then Baghdad. Served a second deployment with the re-flagged 1st Brigade 25th ID SBCT in Ba'Quba and Balad.
