SPRING GLEN- Dorothea Valorie Flemett, age 61, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on August 6, 2023.
She was born July 12, 1962, in Great Falls, Montana to Charles and Dorothy Benzinger Blackham.
Married Timothy Flemett on March 14, 1981, in Kenilworth, Utah. They later divorced after 37 years.
Dottie was a nurse for 28 years, 26 of which was at the South Eastern Utah District Health Department. Dottie was the school nurse, nursing director, and the WIC program. She served others and the community with great admiration. While doing WIC she loved to see and help all the mothers and their babies, it gave her so much joy. Dottie was an amazing mother and grandmother who loved everyone. Dottie loved to travel especially going to the beach. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her children, Eric Flemett, Price, Nicolas Flemett, Helper; grandchildren, Jayden, Kayden, Emma, Abigail, T.C., Jacob, Harmony, Rachel Flemett; 6 great grandchildren; ex daughter-in-law, Amanda Flemett; sister, Janet (Alan) Petersen, Neosha, MI; brother, Ricky Riche, St. George.
Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robbi Blackham; sister-in-law, Leslie Riche; daughter-in-law, Micheal Flemett.
A Celebration of life was held Saturday, August 26, 2023, at the Slovenian Home in Spring Glen. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home.
