About	Ronald R. HASCHAK Sr., 49, of Blakeslee, formerly of Easton, died Monday, March 1, 2012 in Easton Hospital after being stricken at work. He and his wife, the former Melva Newburgh, celebrated their 16th wedding anniversary on Oct. 31, 2003. He was born on Oct. 29, 1954, in Easton, son of Evelyn Winger Haschak, Easton, and the late Steve Haschak. Ronald was employed as a custodian for the Easton Area School District for 15 years, and was currently working at Shawnee Middle School. He had attended Easton Area High School and served with the US Army. Ron was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed the outdoors and hunting, and was a chronic comedian. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sons, Ronald R. Jr. of Easton and Nathan A. of Nazareth; a step-son, Charlie R. Sandt Jr. of Allentown; a sister, Doreen Schmidt of Easton; and two grandchildren, Aileen N. and Kyle A. Haschak. He was predeceased by a brother, Steven, in 1976. Funeral services will be held at — p.m. Saturday, March 7, in the Strunk Funeral Home Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Easton. The interment will be private. Call will be from 11:30 a.m. Saturday, until the time of services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
