| About Me | I never got out of Virginia, except for college and graduate school. I married in 1973 to Marcia Cassidy; she grew up in Alexandria, but we met in New Haven.. After 7 years in parish ministry in various parts of Virginia (with an occasional classmate in the congregation), I have spent 34 years as a seminary history professor. I have written or edited ten books for an incredibly small audience (Episcopalians interested in their history). In the hope of finding a few more readers, my next book will be about Roman Catholics and Methodists.
