| About Me | I was a chaperone for the Hoover High School (HHS) Marching Band while my daughter, Anna was in the band. With 260+ in the band it was a challenge keeping track of everyone as we traveled by bus, plane and train. The Hoover Bucs football team as rated at the top in the nation had a game at Oklahoma City so the band went along with MTV as they were filming the Two-A-Day episodes. The HHS Marching Band was also in the 117th Tournament of Roses Parade for the first heavy rain in history. Anna marched seven miles in the rain with her feet mostly under water. In 2007, the HHS Band marched in the Fiesta Bowl Parade when Ohio State was at Phoenix for the play off. After the parade, we went to the Grand Canyon by train.
