The First Annual LHS All Class Picnic is being held on Saturday, June 25th and starts at 11:00 a.m.. It will be held at Hellsgate Park. People are asked to bring their own food/beverages. If they would like, they can order a box lunch from the Wayback Cafe--three days prior and may be paid in advance. Lunches can be picked up the day of the picnic. 2138-13TH AVE --OFF 21ST STREET. Hellsgate park charges $5 for parking. That is the only cost. The idea of an All Class PIcnic began when The LHS Class of 1957 graciously invited other LHS Classmates to Hellsgate Park for their annual picnic. They had already paid in advance for the space at the park.The idea started with about 10 classes of that era, and as more people heard about it, other classes are coming. It started as an event with approximately just the classes from 1954 to 1964.It has now grown as more classes who expressed interest. If you went to LHS in the 50's & 60's, please come and have a great time. Teachers and parents are welcome. (no children). We hope that other classes will be added and the picnic tradition will continue. Each Class may have a banner with their class, so they'll know where to find their classmates. Since not every class will have a banner, colors will be assigned to each class to wear to find each other. Please bring chairs or blankets for additional seating.
