JAMES F. PARHAM
Class of 1984
National Guard, 16 Years
Joined the Army National Guard in 1985 and served until 2002. The military is a great choice if careers and provides you with lifetime of benefits well after you've served your enlistment. I recommend it for anyone. It has its ups and downs, good side and bad side. At times I hated it and at times I loved it but its one of the best things I've ever done for my future. I earned an Associates degree and a Bachelors degree both paid for by the military and the Veterans Administration. Now as a Veteran I am reaping the rewards of my years of service not to mention the respect and admiration that I have received for serving. I recommend it for any Madison graduate.
